The history of the Summer Variety Season at the West Cliff Theatre can be traced back to 1894.

 

In 2016 the West Cliff Theatre invited AJL Theatrical Ltd to co-produce the show with the West Cliff (Tendring) Trust. It has been our driving force since the start of this arrangement to produce a spectacle that recreates the glitz and glamour of the past whilst reinventing the content of the shows to appeal to a broader audience.

 

Essentially the key ingredients of ‘The Summer Show’ are personality, skill, participation and novelty. Combined with our trademark glitz, glamour,

vibrancy and energy we hope the show will continue to entertain audiences for many years to come!
